Hi I'm Jacqui, based in Norfolk, UK, and a Body Control Pilates mat teacher. When I started Pilates many years ago, I quickly became hooked after just a month because of the difference I felt in my body, and mind. I found I became more energised, balanced, calmer and I felt strong from deep within my body, with less aches and a toned physique . I felt the need to teach Pilates to everyone!
I studied with Body control Pilates, the best in teacher training. After 2 years of in depth training, workshops and supervised teaching hours, I'm proud to call myself a Body Control Pilates teacher!
Joseph Pilates
Pilates is the practice of controlled flowing movements of the joints using the breath and mind body connection to move joints to their full of range of movement. This helps to release tension, creates better mobility and flexibility for the whole body, a strong core (spine and pelvis) and good posture.

In today's fast-paced world, it's more important than ever to take time to relax and unwind. Our Pilates classes incorporate breathing techniques and mindful movement to help you feel calm and centered.
Body Control Pilates is based on the work of Joseph Pilates (1880-1967) who created a series of exercises that build strength without adding bulk, and balanced that strength with flexibility. The classical Pilates exercises that he developed may take many years to perfect and even be beyond the capability of the average person.
We break down those exercises down so that our clients can enjoy the benefits of Pilates, whilst working safely and effectively towards more advanced exercises. Body control Pilates has been training teachers since 1996 with the mission of bringing Pilates to all through our international network of more than 1500 teachers. The Body Control Pilates teacher training course that all our teachers have successfully completed is the most comprehensive of its kind in the world and is widely seen as an international benchmark.

All classes are pre booked in blocks of 6. If I don't hear otherwise I will assume that you the client will carry on into the next block of lessons after a six week block is finished and a reminder of payment will be emailed to you accordingly.
A replacement class in another location can be attended for cancellation made 48 hours before your class, or at the moment your class payment can be carried over to the next week, but only if notification of absence is made 24 hours or more before the lesson.
